CHALLENGE:

To provided GBS and topsides Load-out package and personnel support for the Turkmenistan Block 1 Development MCR-A platform.

The first phase of the project involved the installation of the jacket, followed by the second phase of the float-over of the MCR platform topsides into position on the jacket.

SOLUTION:

The first phase of the project involved the Quayside GBS load-out followed by the installation of the jacket. The second phase involved the float-over of the MCR platform topsides into position on the jacket. The equipment was operated by a team of certified ACE Hire personnel, including a project manager, field project engineer and several winch operators and technicians on a rotational basis.

An extensive range of machinery from our hire equipment portfolio was provided to successfully complete the project.  The equipment included 6 x 100te WLL double drum diesel mooring winches, 8 x 70te WLL single drum winches and 2 x 26te WLL abandonment and recovery (A & R) winches.
