Scope of Work: Refurbishment of Karmoy 80te SWL Pull In Winch

Project Details

ACE Services was commissioned by Technip to complete an on-site winch survey and subsequent overhaul and upgrade a Karmoy 80 tonne SWL Pull-In Winch.

• Strip down and inspection
• Winch drum modifications to modernise design under DNV2.22 rules and GAP analysis produced
• Upgrade of the brake system to a true mechanical auto fail safe brake system
• Manufacture of guarding fitted around the drum and brake assemblies
