Pneumatic Winches and Umbilical Reelers Package for Oceaneering

Oceaneering contracted ACE Winches to execute their initiative to develop the IWOCS’ equipment rental fleet for operation in shallow water developments in the North Sea.
The equipment delivered by ACE Winches included four ACE 1.5 Tonne WLL Pneumatic Umbilical Reelers, two of which were configured to suit electro-hydraulic umbilical and two to suit hydraulic umbilical; two ACE 0.5 Tonne WLL Pneumatic Umbilical Reelers configured to suit electric umbilical; and five ACE 5 Tonne SWL Pneumatic Drum Winches.
The package, all DNV approved, was designed to provide the necessary electric and hydraulic control signals and connections to the tree and downhole functions required during a well installation or workover.
