Lift and Tow Winch Package for Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm

ACE Winches Hire Division supplied a lift and tow winch package on board a construction support vessel, the Polar Prince for Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm installation.

Located off the North Wales coast in Liverpool Bay, the Wind Farm is one of the world’s largest with 160 wind turbines.

ACE Winches was involved in the supply of equipment for cable lay operations where ACE equipment was utilised in cable ploughing procedures.
