ACE Winches continues as main sponsor of Scottish Traditional Boat Festival

We are delighted to announce our continued support of the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival held in Portsoy, Aberdeenshire. As Gold Sponsors, we are the main sponsor of the event for 2019.

The Festival will celebrate its 26th year, bringing up to 16,000 people together, generating revenue for the local economy. It is considered to be one of the key events in the Scottish calendar. 

The event organisers, who head up the Festival's group of volunteers, will be working closely with us in the run up to the event. As our company's background is in the marine and offshore industry, we had no hesitation in continuing as the main sponsor of the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival.

Valerie Cheyne, our Chief Compliance Officer, stated "we have no hesitation extending Gold Sponsorship for the festival for another year. Over the past two decades, we have actively provided assistance and support to a number of community initiatives and youth projects. Supporting the local area is a key focus of our corporate social responsibility strategy. We are looking forward to working closely with the Festival organisers for another year."

The Scottish Traditional Boat Festival takes place on 22 and 23 June 2019. Packed with moments you will never forget, the Festival engages the local community, bringing together boats, music, crafts, food and drinks to celebrate the region's rich cultural heritage.
